Christopher Kimball’s

Milk Street

Role
Digital Art Director, Photographer, Prop Stylist, Food Stylist

As Digital Art Director at Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street, I worked across editorial, publishing, and digital creative production, helping shape the visual identity of the brand through photography, art direction, prop styling, and food styling. My work spanned magazines, cookbooks, recipe content, digital campaigns, and branded storytelling rooted in contemporary food media.

Beyond creative execution, I managed relationships with a wide network of freelance photographers, stylists, designers, and creative partners in an environment where priorities, timelines, and production needs shifted constantly. The role required balancing high-volume creative output with operational oversight, rapid problem-solving, and clear communication across departments and external collaborators.

I regularly interfaced directly with executive leadership, including founder and CEO Christopher Kimball, presenting creative direction, production solutions, and visual strategies in high-stakes editorial and brand environments. This experience sharpened my ability to communicate creative ideas clearly, defend visual decisions, and adapt quickly while maintaining a cohesive brand perspective.

Alongside directing and producing visual content, I art directed and led prop sourcing for Milk Street Noodles, helping establish a tactile, editorially driven visual language rooted in warmth, curiosity, and global culinary storytelling. My styling work is featured across multiple Milk Street cookbooks and magazine issues and contributed to building a recognizable visual identity that continues across the brand’s editorial ecosystem today.
